LOGIC Solutions Group partnered with BP Lower 48 Onshore (BPX) to resolve, load, and distribute numerous commercial, contracted, and internal data sets— including cumbersome IHS and Drillinginfo feeds—into a single, usable geospatial database. The core challenge was automating integration across disparate sources while ensuring spatial and attribute accuracy for downstream oil and gas decision-making.

LOGIC used FME to automate ETL workflows that ingested and transformed data into an enriched Esri Geodatabase, calculated new fields, and produced datasets to identify trends and competitor activity from spatial attributes. Built-in spatial and non‑spatial QA/QC during processing ensured wells were correctly located, reduced manual effort, saved time and money, and improved overall data quality for better decisions.
