Bureau of Land Management National Operations Center - Customer Case Study

The Bureau of Land Management National Operations Center (NOC) needed to exercise quality control over standardized spatial data harvested from 12 administrative state offices to improve data integrity and build confidence for critical business decisions.

Using pre-built quality-control tools in FME Desktop’s graphical interface, NOC created a reusable workflow that assesses data accuracy, generates QC reports for state offices to correct errors, and then replicates and reconciles updated datasets with the NOC’s master copy. The automated process has expedited coordination with state offices and helped staff deliver higher-quality spatial data to internal and external customers.
