Bonava, working with Safe Software and FME, needed to modernize its data and migrate a wide mix of project files from multiple legacy systems into the cloud without losing file relationships or version history. The challenge was to move Autodesk CAD, Revit, IFC, PDF, Excel, and text files from systems like SharePoint, Windows Explorer, and Sokopro into A360 in a consistent, business-rule-driven way.

Safe Software’s FME platform was used to build no-code workflows that restructured files, uploaded them to A360, and verified successful migration. Using only three transformers in one key workspace, Bonava moved terabytes of data to the cloud, standardized file organization across eight locations, and created Excel-based validation reports that quickly flagged missing files for remediation.
