Talking Rain, a Seattle-based beverage company and producer of Sparkling ICE® sparkling flavored water, faced rapid national growth that overwhelmed its limited distribution network. Saddle Creek Logistics Services helped configure Talking Rain’s national distribution network by placing inventory closer to end customers and adding product reconfiguration, customization, and rainbow-pallet building services. The new solution improved inventory visibility, supported postponement strategies, streamlined the supply chain, and let Talking Rain focus on producing 18-packs while Saddle Creek converted them into retail-ready multipacks. Saddle Creek completed the reconfiguration in less than six months and now manages more than one million square feet of food-grade warehouse space for the customer, helping Talking Rain meet national demand for Sparkling ICE®.
