Nu Skin, a direct-selling health and beauty company, needed a faster and more cost-effective way to fulfill orders, especially those shipping east of the Mississippi. The company turned to Saddle Creek Logistics Services for fulfillment support to improve delivery speed and customer service.

Saddle Creek Logistics Services built a strategically located, temperature-controlled fulfillment operation in Charlotte, N.C., and invested more than $1 million in automation and material handling equipment, including pick-to-light technology and motorized conveyors. The results included handling about 2,200 ecommerce orders per day, achieving 100% order accuracy in 2016, and shipping more than 98% of orders the same day, while also reducing shipping costs by up to 11% and enabling three-day-or-less transit for most distributor orders.
