Vila Gale, a Portuguese hotel group with 23 properties in Portugal and Brazil, needed a fast, simple and highly flexible booking engine to better merchandise each property's unique experience, support multiple languages and currencies, and increase direct online revenue. They chose Sabre and its SynXis Booking Engine to provide a user-friendly, group-level control center and a streamlined booking process to improve conversion on their website.

Sabre implemented the SynXis Booking Engine on Vila Gale’s site, adding an extensive photo gallery, multilingual booking pages (English, Portuguese, German, French and Spanish), and worked with the Sabre team to refine descriptions, controls and marketing features. In the first full year after launch, reservations through the site rose by over 190% and room nights increased by just over 200%, driving a significant uplift in direct bookings.
