Montage Resort & Spa, a 262‑room ultra‑luxury resort in Laguna Beach, engaged Sabre to establish and promote its new flagship brand online and to drive qualified leads, conversions and revenue during the property’s opening phase and beyond. The challenge for Sabre was to design a website and deliver a fully integrated online marketing program that would position the resort, build brand awareness and generate direct sales.
Sabre developed a comprehensive digital marketing solution—designing and continually enhancing the website, launching e‑commerce (montageshops.com), mini‑sites (Spa, Meetings, Weddings), an online concierge and RFP/IPS integration, plus CRM, email marketing and SEO programs. The results were strong: Sabre’s program helped website direct revenue rise 35% (2005–2006) with 44% from search visitors, Montage Shops revenue up 17%, online room nights up 61%, online RFPs up 96%, search traffic more than doubled in year one, and the sites earned multiple industry awards.
