Magnolia Hotels, a Denver-based manager of four-star properties in historic downtown locations, faced fragmented, manual reservation tracking (rate codes across multiple locations), unorganized data and an inability to measure marketing ROI or grow its customer database. To address this, Magnolia implemented Sabre’s SynXis solutions—specifically the SynXis Digital Marketing Reporting Portal and RezTrack reporting tools—to gain reliable tracking and campaign visibility.
Sabre developed and supported a digital marketing program (search engine marketing, pay-per-click and social media) and provided SynXis reporting to refine campaigns and measure ROI; RezTrack was added to track booking engine reservations. As a result, Sabre’s SynXis tools helped Magnolia increase booking engine reservations nearly 12% year-over-year, raise its look-to-book ratio to an average of almost 6% in 2009, and grow the customer database by 45% in 2009.
