InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) faced fierce competition in the UAE market—rising new hotel supply, rate pressure and fragmented GDS marketing across its 20 UAE properties made it hard to stand out to travel agents and protect ADR. To solve this, IHG selected Sabre Hospitality Solutions and its Sabre GDS Media services (including PromoSpots and Hotel Spotlight) to consolidate and amplify its presence on agent point-of-sale systems.

Sabre Hospitality Solutions implemented a GDS-centric campaign that placed IHG hotels at the top of search displays and delivered targeted PromoSpots to agents at the point of booking. The consolidated program drove measurable results: a 40% increase in bookings and a 15% increase in room nights year-over-year (22 Oct 2018–20 Jan 2019), while improving visibility, agent reach and yield potential for IHG.
