Grand Hotel Amstelveen, an independent hotel in the Netherlands, faced falling GDS bookings and had only a single public rate set up, without an on‑site Revenue Manager to optimize distribution. They engaged Sabre (via Sabre Hospitality Solutions) and its SynXis CR revenue management services to help develop a targeted revenue and merchandising strategy that better reflected the property’s airport and near‑city location.

Sabre conducted a SynXis CR property audit, restructured rates and restrictions, set up GDS‑specific and negotiated rates, and improved descriptive content to boost visibility across channels. As a result, GDS reservations rose 96% year‑on‑year, GDS revenue grew more than 78%, and overall revenue for Q1–Q2 increased 105%, driven by the Sabre‑led revenue management changes.
