Destination Hotels & Resorts, managing a portfolio of more than 30 independent properties, needed to build online brand awareness and revenues, implement uniform information architecture and e‑commerce guidelines, consistently track performance to demonstrate ROI to asset owners, increase email capture for CRM, and gain online market share versus larger hotel brands. To tackle these challenges they engaged Sabre (Sabre Hospitality) to lead a redesign and digital strategy using web design, micro‑sites, CRM and booking‑engine integrations and integrated marketing services.
Sabre designed a “32 Unique Experiences” approach—clustered Websites and lifestyle micro‑sites—implemented a single CMS, integrated CRM across the portfolio and secured booking‑engine partnerships, and ran SEO, link partnerships, PPC and email marketing programs. As a result Sabre helped Destination Hotels & Resorts grow overall site traffic 36% year‑over‑year (over 1.2 million visitors in 2006) and doubled corporate website traffic via linkage partnerships from 2005 to 2006 while enabling consistent tracking and e‑commerce across the portfolio.
