Triptease worked with Sabre to tackle the challenge of building trust and increasing direct-booking conversions by showing live OTA price comparisons on hotel websites. Sabre Hospitality Solutions tested the Triptease Price Check widget, which displays competing OTA rates alongside the hotel’s direct rate during the booking engine’s availability-results step.

Sabre ran a 3-week A/B test across eight hotel sites with 10,554 visits, comparing the booking flow with and without the Triptease Price Check. With Sabre’s implementation, visitors shown the price comparison delivered a 12.2% higher look-to-book conversion (3.8% vs 3.4%) and roughly 24% higher direct-booking revenue, proving the Triptease widget increased trust and drove measurable lifts in bookings and revenue.
