Shun Feng Express (SF Express) is China’s largest private courier, with about 140,000 employees, more than 30 subsidiaries and rapid domestic and international expansion that requires hiring 30,000–40,000 people annually. Faced with high turnover, diverse skill needs and inconsistent recruitment and development practices, the company needed a scalable, standardized people-management system to identify, train and groom talent and leaders across its vast network.
SF selected Saba to deploy a personalized employee portal, blended-learning platform and a centralized HR database configured into four occupational channels with 200 roles and five qualification levels. The system enabled self-directed learning, manager oversight, tiered succession planning and faster talent identification, reducing administrative load and helping SF Express recruit, develop and retain the skilled professionals needed to keep pace with growth and ensure smoother operations.
