Santee Cooper, South Carolina’s state-owned electric and water utility and one of the nation’s largest public-power producers, needed a comprehensive, easily managed training program to meet stringent federal and state regulations and to improve performance across a diverse, 1,850-person workforce spread statewide. Training was fragmented across multiple systems and focused on checking compliance boxes rather than building a culture of safer, more productive work.

Adoption was universal — from new hires to the CEO — enabling 100% verifiable compliance, reduced overtime and travel costs, the largest one-year reduction in accidents in the utility’s history, sustained high safety incentive awards, and a lasting shift toward proactive, role-focused learning.
