Faced with inconsistent, paper-based onboarding and fragmented manager-led training across equity and franchise sites — and a largely young, tech-savvy workforce — KFC needed a scalable, consistent way to upskill staff and develop leaders.
KFC implemented Saba’s cloud-based learning platform and virtual classroom, launching “The Learning Zone” and a leadership program for 1,200 managers and leaders. The move from manuals to e-learning standardized training across all restaurants, cut learner time by 30% and manager delivery time by 65%, enabled NVQ and degree pathways, and helped KFC win industry recognition for its training and development.
