A Saba Case Study

Saba helps BayLern transform Bavarian authority education portal

BayLern® is a Bavarian government initiative that provides a centralized education portal for training and higher-education organizations serving state authorities and enterprises. Facing fragmented, stand-alone e-learning solutions and a largely manual, time-consuming process for managing instructor-led and blended training, BayLern® needed a centralized, highly secure, internet-accessible learning and talent management platform for more than 300,000 employees.

BayLern® chose Saba to deliver an enterprise-grade LMS hosted in a state-owned Munich data center that met security, scalability, and usability requirements. The platform standardized access to training via internet and intranet, reduced travel costs, streamlined compliance management, and enabled delivery of 150+ courses and 1,100 offerings across Bavaria while supporting future blended and virtual classroom programs.
