Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a global hospitality company with over 100,000 employees and 11 distinct brands, needed to scale a small Global Learning team to deliver consistent, on-brand guest experiences worldwide. The challenge was to provide easy, mobile, and personalized training for largely frontline staff across many languages and time zones while gaining real data to guide learning investments.
Hyatt selected Saba Cloud after end-user testing for its mobile, social and personalized features and launched in 14 weeks. The team built brand-specific digital workspaces, cut legacy training from roughly 1,000 documents to 120 short videos, and used analytics to optimize language and content. Early results showed strong adoption and engagement (nearly 40% of employees visited the learning site with high return rates), a 62% increase in satisfaction versus the prior LMS, expanded course and video channels, growing mobile use, and measurable leadership visibility into learning impact.
