Countrywide PLC, a real estate services group of more than 14,000 people across 500 offices in the UK, faced rising learning-and-development demands from heavy regulation and a dispersed workforce. The board wanted to “socialize learning” — maintaining consistent compliance training while capturing and sharing employee expertise and building skills across the business.
Countrywide moved to Saba Cloud, adopting social collaboration, mobile access, gamified learning and built‑in analytics to deliver bite‑size courses and peer-driven groups. Results included doubled monthly course completions (from 2,000 to 5,000), a fourfold increase in compliance learning, 80% of courses now focused on skills development, significant savings in on-site training, improved reporting for regional ownership, and lower first‑year attrition for new hires.
