Case Study: China Construction Bank achieves scalable, faster global training and reduced learning costs with Saba

A Saba Case Study

Preview of the China Construction Bank Case Study

China Construction Bank counts on Saba to deliver learning for a competitive edge in the global financial marketplace

China Construction Bank (CCB), one of China’s "Big Four" banks with 380,000 employees across 14,000 branches and more than 40 subsidiaries, needed a way to rapidly and consistently deliver training on new strategies, products, and services across a complex, tiered global structure. Legacy reliance on face-to-face classes, disparate learning programs, and manual reporting made it difficult to scale learning, share resources, and measure progress efficiently.

CCB implemented Saba’s cloud-based learning solution to create a standardized online training resource center and blended learning model, pooling content and automating reporting and monitoring. The platform supported high concurrent use (thousands of users at peak), reduced learning costs, sped product rollouts by enabling self‑paced study, increased employee proactivity, and gave managers real‑time insight to benchmark and guide development—allowing CCB to scale training across the enterprise and plan further expansion.
