A Saba Case Study
CEMEX, a global building-solutions company operating in more than 50 countries, faced the challenge of standardizing and scaling employee training after rapid international growth and acquisitions. To sustain quality and streamline operations, the company needed to move from primarily instructor-led training to a holistic, web-based learning approach aligned with corporate strategy and designed to reduce time to competency.
CEMEX implemented Saba’s learning platform worldwide to deliver, manage and track both e-learning and instructor-led programs, currently supporting more than 8,300 users and course activity across multiple countries. The solution doubled the number of employees trained, cut classroom-equivalent learning time by an estimated 25–60%, empowered self-directed learning, improved on-the-job performance, and enabled centralized reporting and multilingual expansion for compliance and ISO needs.
