Bentley University uses Saba Classroom to create interactive online learning environment for graduate students

Bentley University, a business-focused university in the Boston suburbs with about 1,500 graduate students, needed to give master’s candidates greater flexibility to attend classes on campus or remotely so they could manage work and personal commitments. Prior video-conferencing solutions were costly and limited by room availability, prompting Bentley to find a more scalable, reliable option.

Bentley implemented Saba Classroom as the foundation of its Hybrid Online Learning program, enabling real-time interactive classes and recorded sessions. Today the program supports more than 1,000 enrollments across 91 hybrid courses, lets up to 85% of students replay lectures, achieves break-even with roughly two students per class, and generates over $1 million in annual profit after technology and support costs, with high student and faculty satisfaction and steady annual growth.
