The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) is a not‑for‑profit regional Internet registry serving over 4,000 members across the Asia‑Pacific. As APNIC grew it outgrew its legacy performance system and identified 29 specific requirements—such as linking position descriptions to appraisals, weighting KPIs, 360‑degree feedback and a hosted/cloud solution with Single Sign‑On—to improve transparency, consistency and alignment of goals at all levels.
APNIC implemented the Halogen TalentSpace suite (Performance, Job Description Builder and Compensation), rolling out performance and position‑description processes in six weeks and compensation shortly after. The integrated solution simplified goal management, enabled continuous feedback and multi‑rater reviews, automated compensation decisions with real‑time reporting, and reduced HR administration. Within a year APNIC saw measurable benefits including higher employee engagement scores that exceeded industry and high‑performing organization benchmarks, improved manager decision‑making and significant time and cost savings.
