HOP!, the regional airline owned by Air France, wanted to win over domestic and regional travelers in France by challenging the long-standing preference for trains with the message that air travel can be cheaper and faster. To support this brand-awareness goal, HOP! worked with S4M on a geo-targeted mobile campaign using Locala’s mobile advertising solutions.

S4M implemented a countrywide mobile campaign that geo-fenced airports and train stations, targeted business and leisure travelers, and used a 3D Cube ad format to deliver personalized messages by destination and travel time. The campaign generated 12.1 million impressions, 236,061 clicks, and 56,116 landing-page visits, while fraud filtering reduced clicks to 221,061 net and helped save 7.5% of the media budget; overall engagement reached 8.63%, with users spending an average of 38 seconds on the landing page.
