A Ryte Case Study
Chefkoch GmbH, Europe’s largest cooking and baking platform, wanted to quickly validate whether its new product comparison content could drive rankings, traffic, and revenue in a highly competitive SEO environment. To do this, the team used Ryte, specifically its Segments feature, to compare groups of product articles and test the impact of content and structural changes as well as different internal linking strategies.
With Ryte, Chefkoch optimized one group of product articles and monitored it against non-optimized pages, then tested internal and external linking setups from recipe pages, magazine content, and YouTube. The optimized pages eventually overtook the control group in position, impressions, clicks, and CTR, with visible impact emerging after about 2–3 months. Overall, Chefkoch increased visibility for 51 product articles to 1.8 points within 12 months, generated 5 million Google impressions, and moved 23.4% of ranking keywords into Google’s Top 10.
