Fritz-kola, the Hamburg-based beverage manufacturer operating in 25 countries, wanted to replace a time-consuming, paper-based expense process that involved manual reporting, receipt copying, internal checks, and delayed reimbursements. To support its sustainability and digitalization goals, the company evaluated several expense management tools and looked for a solution that was easy to use, integrated well with existing systems, and worked across multiple markets and tax rules. Rydoo was chosen as the vendor, offering an expense management platform that fit these requirements.
Rydoo implemented a fully digital expense management process for Fritz-kola, enabling employees to scan and submit receipts via mobile, track reimbursement status in real time, and simplify per diem handling across countries. The result was faster processing, less paper, reduced workload for finance and approvers, and fewer errors; employees also reported very positive feedback. While the case study does not provide hard numeric savings, Fritz-kola said Rydoo delivered clear time and cost benefits and proved especially valuable for field sales, internal sales, and remote work during the pandemic.
