Pasco County Schools struggled with a paper-based, time-consuming fee collection process that left teachers handling cash and checks and families rarely paying online (only 2% adoption). To modernize payments and increase staff buy-in, the district partnered with Rycor and deployed Rycor Fee Management, Rycor Point of Sale, and Rycor Online Payments.
Rycor implemented a standardized, cloud-based fee management system integrated with the district’s SIS and ERP, automating fee assessment, deposits, and reconciliation while giving teachers an easy POS and parents an online payment option. The Rycor solution reduced cash/checks in schools by $3.02M, standardized management of over $7.3M in fees, raised online payment adoption from 2% to 35%, enabled bookkeepers to process $30K in 15 minutes (vs. over a week), and put over 2,000 teachers on the Rycor POS.
