Buro Happold, a global engineering firm with roughly 1,900 employees across 24 locations, needed a way to evolve its values and ensure every office and employee had a voice in shaping culture. To capture real-time feedback and analyze trends affecting their people, Buro Happold introduced the Rungway platform in 2017 as part of a broader talent- and performance-management refresh.
Using Rungway’s app for the “Values Exchange” initiative, employees could respond publicly or anonymously to proposed values and add suggestions, with insights broken down by gender, department, tenure, generation and region and sensitive items routed to the right specialists. Rungway’s moderated anonymity and analytics drove over 60% employee adoption, nearly 100,000 follows/likes/views, quicker issue escalation to HR/regional leaders, and helped Buro Happold refine its business vision while strengthening inclusion and employee engagement.
