The Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) is a national network of schools with access to over 70,000 alumnae. Sixth-form students were frequently hesitant to use face‑to‑face careers mentoring because of confidence, time and intimidation barriers, so GDST partnered with Rungway to trial its digital mentoring app as an anonymous, on‑demand alternative.

Rungway’s app lets students register, post anonymous questions and receive real‑time advice from experienced alumnae; implementation is simple and safe. The platform increased student comfort and alumnae engagement, produced tangible outcomes (one student, Agatha, connected with alumna Becky via Rungway and went on to secure four university interviews), and has now been rolled out to 24 schools and academies across the GDST network.
