Skyguide, the Swiss air-navigation provider that supports 1.2 million flights a year, needed a better way to manage mission-critical VMware infrastructure as it consolidated to a virtualized environment. With 12 vCenters and more than 100 hosts, the team had to proactively find issues before they could cause outages, especially in a high-reliability air-traffic environment.

Skyguide chose Runecast Analyzer after a proof of concept showed it could quickly identify root causes, with first results in less than two hours. Runecast helped the team detect driver issues, misconfigurations, and mismatched versions, reduce time spent on reactive troubleshooting, simulate ESXi upgrades to find HCL non-compliances in advance, and improve security compliance and centralized visibility.
