A Runecast Case Study

Preview of the Near East Bank Case Study

Runecast saves 90% of time previously spent troubleshooting

Near East Bank, part of the Near East Group in North Cyprus, wanted to move its virtualization operations from a reactive maintenance model to a more proactive one. Running 2 vCenters, 13 ESXi hosts, vSAN, and vSphere, the bank needed better visibility into hardware and software compatibility, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness. It turned to Runecast and Runecast Analyzer to help reduce risk and simplify oversight.

Runecast Analyzer was deployed after a short proof of concept and took only a few hours to set up and learn. The tool exposed more than 30 issues in a single week, including 2 critical, 19 major, and 12 medium issues, and Near East Bank used that insight to prioritize remediation without adding staff. The bank said Runecast Analyzer saved 90% of the time previously spent troubleshooting issues reactively, while also helping it improve security, demonstrate compliance, and free up IT staff for more valuable work.
