Pacific Seafood, a family-owned Oregon seafood company with more than 2,500 employees, needed better reporting for its VMware environment. Its team wanted management-ready KPI reports that would show security work was being done and that the environment followed accepted best practices, rather than relying on scripts that were useful to technicians but too technical for leadership.

Pacific Seafood ran a two-week proof of concept of Runecast Analyzer, then rolled it into the rest of its environment after confirming it was stable and easy to deploy. Runecast Analyzer automated vCenter and host integration, provided severity-based issue tracking, and helped the VMware team focus on the most critical risks first while also supporting management reporting and best-practice analysis.
