Notino, Europe’s largest online fragrance and beauty retailer, was running 3 vCenter Servers managing more than 50 ESXi hosts and a Horizon VDI environment when it was facing 4-5 VMware-related incidents each month. With roughly half a million daily visits and up to 80,000 orders per day, the company needed more proactive support to keep its datacenter stable across 23 countries. Notino turned to Runecast Analyzer for real-time support and mitigation of downtime.

Runecast Analyzer alerted Notino to VMware issues before they caused problems, and the team integrated it with VMware Orchestrator for a more self-healing environment. In the first two weeks, it identified and helped prevent 10 VMware issues, and the company reduced VMware-related incidents by 80%, from 5 a month to 1 a month. Notino also reported at least €78,000 in annual savings, the equivalent of one full-time admin freed up for more business-critical work.
