Johnson Service Group (JSG), a textile services company based in Cheshire, UK, relies heavily on VMware for its in-house hosted infrastructure. The IT team needed a way to identify latent issues and future problems in its ESX environment to reduce the risk of downtime and a major outage.

JSG trialed Runecast Analyzer after seeing it at VMworld Barcelona in 2017, and the deployment took less than 20 minutes. Runecast identified five critical, 24 major, and 18 medium risks on the first run, and JSG said the tool’s main benefits were its ability to flag issues before outages and provide automated compliance reports.
