FLEXdata Solutions Pty Ltd., an Australian systems integration company based in Brisbane, needed a way to manage infrastructure operations, security compliance, and upgrade planning more efficiently across environments it supports for clients, including government infrastructure. The team wanted to reduce the time spent on alerts, auditing, and best-practice checks so it could deliver a more commercially viable service.

FLEXdata evaluated Runecast Analyzer with a pilot on two VMware-based environments and chose it for its cost, ease of use, and breadth of analysis. Runecast immediately identified four security vulnerabilities and helped FLEXdata shorten deployment and first analysis to 15 minutes, with estimated time savings of 60% to 70% in day-to-day operations and 90% in upgrade planning. FLEXdata also said the ROI based solely on operational hours saved would be 6 to 7 months.
