Stephanie Miller's Sexy Liberal Podcast Network faced the sudden collapse of its live-theater tour in March 2020 and needed a way to keep performing and monetize its audience. The team pivoted to Run The World, using the platform's virtual-event features (pre-show cocktail parties, VIP meet & greets, groupfies and breakout experiences) to recreate the social atmosphere of a live show online.
Using Run The World, the Sexy Liberal Virtual Tour ran monthly, sold 20,000 tickets across five virtual shows (with $15 regular and $40 VIP tiers), drew roughly 900 people into a cocktail party and hosted 200-person VIP rooms, and saw more than 2,500 fans tune in for individual events. Run The World’s format let the producers expand VIP into multi-day experiences, build a recurring revenue model and create evergreen content that generates ongoing income and higher fan engagement.
