Southeast Community College faced enrollment shortfalls after years of growth as demographics and employment demands shifted and high school graduate numbers declined. College leaders recognized the need for a proactive multiyear enrollment plan, sent a cross-divisional team to the Strategic Enrollment Planning Executive Forum hosted by Ruffalo Noel Levitz, and then partnered with Ruffalo Noel Levitz to guide plan development during a critical five-year plan transition and presidential change.

Ruffalo Noel Levitz helped SCC develop and begin implementing a strategic enrollment plan that aligns fiscal, academic, and delivery resources with the changing marketplace and will roll into the institution’s new strategic plan. Measured impacts so far include much better data organization, expansion of the institutional research office, formation of a diverse implementation team, and strengthened internal leadership—outcomes SCC attributes directly to Ruffalo Noel Levitz’s consultant and process.
