Loma Linda University Health - Customer Case Study

Loma Linda University Health faced a challenge reaching thousands of top-rated prospects for its Vision 2020 campaign—about 2,600 high-priority donors, with roughly 2,000 unassigned to gift officers. To close that gap they partnered with Ruffalo Noel Levitz, using RNL Major and Planned Giving Solutions to design a planned giving donor survey and qualification program with donor-warming communications and personalized engagement calls.

Ruffalo Noel Levitz’s team conducted outreach, qualified donors, and passed prospects to LLUH gift officers, producing 98 qualified leads and reaching 399 donors in the initial campaign (Fall 2016: 51 Grade 1, 6 Grade 2; 14.6% highly qualified). The work has generated multiple high-value legacy commitments—including a gift exceeding $400,000—and, to date, LLUH has raised $3,675,000 through the partnership, while improving database intelligence and gift officer follow-up efficiency.
