Creighton University engaged Ruffalo Noel Levitz to build a stronger, better-qualified inquiry pool and to better target communications in order to reduce mailing costs and more effectively deploy staff time. The university used Ruffalo Noel Levitz’s predictive modeling solution, ForecastPlus, to identify students most likely to enroll and improve recruitment focus.

Ruffalo Noel Levitz’s ForecastPlus models enabled Creighton to enroll its second-largest class in one year, exceeding its goal for the following year; that class had a median ACT of 26, median SAT of 1200, median weighted GPA of 3.8, and 39% ranked in the top 10% of their high school class. Creighton now uses the inquiry model scores to segment written outreach, direct telecounseling, and plan travel, reducing costs and maximizing staff effort and time.
