Berry College Achieves Big Goals for Enrollment and Revenue

Berry College, a private liberal arts college in Georgia, worked with Ruffalo Noel Levitz in 2018 to increase headcount and revenue while continuing to serve Pell students, out-of-state students, and students of color. The college also wanted to maintain its class size and student quality while managing debt load and supporting underrepresented students.

Ruffalo Noel Levitz supported Berry College with Student Search and Engagement and Advanced Financial Aid Systems, with consultants holding weekly calls with admissions, financial aid, marketing, and budget staff. Between 2018 and 2021, Berry reported a 48% increase in first-year enrollment, a 44% increase in net revenue, a 90% increase in students of color, and an 18% increase in out-of-state students, and it received a 2022 RNL Marketing-Recruitment Excellence Award.
