SOVAK supports 700 residents across 65 facilities with RUCKUS Networks

SOVAK, an organization providing housing and care for adults and children with disabilities, required a stable wireless network to support its ambitious ICT master plan and next-generation healthcare innovations. Their challenge was to extend the bandwidth and range of their network to enable the trouble-free use of personal devices and new applications across numerous facilities. To address this, they partnered with RUCKUS Networks.

RUCKUS Networks implemented a solution using RUCKUS SmartZone network controller appliances and RUCKUS wireless access points. This new network was rolled out across SOVAK's main building and 65 local care facilities, reliably supporting 700 residents, 1,000 employees, and 500 volunteers. The solution from RUCKUS Networks provides the necessary foundation for future healthcare innovations, including care robots and sensors.
