Schoenen Torfs, a family-owned Belgian shoe retailer with more than 75 stores and 700+ employees, depended on in‑store Wi‑Fi for mobile scanners, back‑office systems and free customer access. Their legacy wireless setup suffered from limited capacity, unstable connections and fragmented documentation, making renovations, deployments and analytics difficult and leading to poor staff and customer experiences.

Partnering with VanRoey.be, Torfs implemented RUCKUS Cloud Wi‑Fi with over 300 RUCKUS APs (BeamFlex+) managed from a single cloud portal and mobile app. After a six‑month proof of concept, the solution was rolled out to all stores in five weeks, delivering broader coverage with fewer APs, simple pre‑staging and onboarding, centralized management, reduced IT burden and noticeably higher customer and employee satisfaction.
