Discovery Primea, a premium business hotel in Makati, needed reliable, hotel-wide business-class Wi‑Fi to meet modern corporate guest expectations and to support concierge and point-of-sale applications. The property faced difficult coverage areas—multiple dining spaces, meeting rooms, a business centre and elevators—where previous solutions produced dead zones, interference and dropped connections.

After trialing multiple vendors, Discovery Primea deployed Ruckus ZoneFlex 7055 access points with a ZoneDirector 3000 controller, using SmartMesh, BeamFlex, ChannelFly and SpeedFlex technologies to optimize signal, channel selection and performance without extensive cabling. The result was seamless, stable coverage throughout the hotel (including elevators), dependable corporate and concierge apps, reduced downtime and improved guest satisfaction that reinforced the hotel’s reputation for business-friendly connectivity.
