Provides a secure and reliable network, Cloudpath® delivers BYOD security

Forest Hills Public School District in Grand Rapids, Michigan serves over 10,000 students and 1,200 staff across 68 square miles. Its legacy Wi‑Fi couldn’t keep up with a surge of Chromebooks and BYOD devices—APs bogged down after 25–30 clients, buildings’ RF‑unfriendly construction limited coverage, and rising help‑desk tickets made a secure, reliable, high‑capacity network essential.

FH deployed nearly 1,000 RUCKUS indoor access points (R500/H500/R700), virtual SmartZone controllers for redundancy, and Cloudpath for secure, certificate‑based BYOD onboarding. The upgrade dramatically increased concurrent client capacity (routinely supporting 100+ users per AP), improved signal strength and reliability, reduced IT tickets, and delivered a scalable, future‑proof network for digital learning.
