Ontario Institute for Cancer Research enables access to 25,000 tumor genomes with RUCKUS Networks

The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) faced the challenge of supporting advanced cancer research with gigantic genomic data files. Their previous High-Performance Computing clusters made file transfers slow and costly, hindering collaboration and progress. To deploy a high-density, flexible network that could easily scale, they turned to RUCKUS Networks and its ICX 7750 switches.

This enabled on-demand file transfer between storage and compute resources, providing collaboratory users with fast, easy access to unique data sets.
