Preview of the Northwest Harvest Case Study

Northwest Harvest connects 65 programs and 17 schools with RUCKUS Networks

Northwest Harvest, a non-profit focused on ending hunger in Washington, needed to deliver secure, high-performance Wi-Fi connectivity across its new distribution center. Their challenges included a high-ceiling warehouse with a large sub-zero freezer that created connectivity issues and a volunteer workforce that required simple, dependable access anywhere. To address this, they turned to RUCKUS Networks for a solution involving RUCKUS switches and cloud-managed access points.

RUCKUS implemented its R650 access points and ICX 7150 switches managed by RUCKUS One. This solution provided reliable wireless coverage everywhere, allowing volunteers to connect to point of sale and inventory applications. The RUCKUS switches were fast and simple to install and experienced zero failures, ensuring maximum network performance and significantly reducing the IT burden for the non-profit.
