A RUCKUS Networks Case Study
Atlantic Aviation, the nation’s largest fixed‑base operator with 65 locations ranging from small terminals to 22‑acre facilities, was plagued by erratic Wi‑Fi—dropped connections, spotty indoor/outdoor coverage, and legacy gear that couldn’t scale or be managed centrally. With limited broadband at some sites and growing needs for POS, back‑office systems and reliable ramp/hangar connectivity, the company needed a robust, centrally managed wireless solution.
Atlantic partnered with Blueprint RF to deploy Ruckus ZoneFlex APs, ZoneDirector controllers and long‑range point‑to‑point bridges using adaptive antennas, smart meshing and centralized management. The rollout delivered near‑100% uptime and consistent Wi‑Fi across all 65 FBOs, virtually eliminated customer complaints, and enabled new services (POS, VoIP, ramp connectivity) while simplifying remote administration.
