Copper Mountain Resort, a major Colorado ski destination hosting nearly one million skier visits a year and featuring 38 individual condo buildings, needed reliable, high‑capacity guest Wi‑Fi across complex, renovated multi‑dwelling units and outdoor public areas. The existing lodging-only network delivered poor coverage and couldn’t handle growing device density, so the resort required a stable, easy‑to‑use managed solution that could serve homeowners associations, retail, restaurants and outdoor spaces.

ResortInternet and Ruckus implemented a scalable solution: a fiber backbone linking buildings, a hosted Virtual SmartZone controller, 500+ indoor ZoneFlex R300/R500 APs and 21 weather‑proof T300 outdoor APs using Ruckus BeamFlex+ adaptive antennas.
