Hyatt Hotels Australia needed to replace an outdated Wi-Fi network across its five Australian hotels to provide reliable coverage for staff and its 571,000 annual guests. The challenging RF environment, with metal fixtures creating black spots, required a solution that was not only comprehensive and aesthetically pleasing but also quick to deploy to minimize business disruption. They turned to RUCKUS Networks for a new wireless infrastructure.

RUCKUS Networks implemented 585 indoor/outdoor access points managed by five ZoneDirector smart wireless LAN controllers across the hotel portfolio. This solution significantly reduced the total number of access points needed while improving coverage strength, successfully delivering strong Wi-Fi to over 800 attendees at conferences and future-proofing the guest experience.
