Fraser Valley Regional Library deploys 50 RUCKUS switches to deliver reliable online library services

Fraser Valley Regional Library (FVRL), a pioneering public library system serving a large geographic area, faced a challenge with its unreliable and time-consuming network switches. This was a critical issue as they needed a high-performance network to support their innovative online services, including making the full Microsoft Office suite available to the public via Citrix. To address this, FVRL turned to RUCKUS Networks for a new switching solution.

RUCKUS Networks implemented a solution using 50 of its ICX switches. The new switches were easy to deploy and proved to be highly reliable, not experiencing a single failure. This allowed the public to securely and reliably access the Microsoft Office suite in their local libraries. The reliability of the RUCKUS solution freed up valuable IT resources, allowing FVRL's small team to focus on new projects instead of network management.
