A RUCKUS Networks Case Study
Frankelandgroep, a healthcare group providing long-term elderly care and homecare in the Netherlands, faced a challenge in modernizing its clinical workflow. To reduce administrative time spent on paper files, they adopted an Electronic Client File (ECD) system. This required a fast and reliable wireless network with seamless coverage across all five of their locations, a significant upgrade from their previous limited and overloaded Wi-Fi. They turned to RUCKUS Networks for a solution.
The solution implemented by RUCKUS Networks consisted of 328 RUCKUS access points managed by two RUCKUS SmartZone WLAN controllers. This created a single, future-proof network with 100% coverage, strong signal strength, and high reliability. The results provided staff with immediate, secure access to patient records anywhere, improving clinical workflow. The network also has sufficient capacity for staff and visitors, and offers improved central management and security as the organization grows.
